Ruth Debney BDS, MA, BA (Hons)
Principal Dentist
Ruth qualified from The Royal London Dental School in 1990 and joined The White House Dental Practice. In 2003 she took over the practice and became the principal dentist.
She enjoys providing a wide range of dental procedures and specialises in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery, including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth.
Ruth has completed a postgraduate modular implant course with Straumann.
Ruth has been selected as a member of the interview panel for the graduate and undergraduate programme for dental students applying to Barts and The Royal London School of Dentistry.

Dr Sameer Manro BDS MJDF Dip(Endo) PgCert (Dental Ed)
Dental Associate
Sameer qualified in 2006 from Bart’s and London University. After successfully completing vocational training, Sameer’s passion for developing and enhancing skills continued
Sameer’s journey began by becoming a Member of the Joint Faculty of Dental Surgeons at Royal College London. He achieved further postgraduate qualifications in Endodontics, spending two further years at Barts and the London University. He then went to complete a further year at the University of Bedfordshire and gained a Postgraduate Teaching Qualification which he enjoys training newly qualified dentists.
Sameer has a passion for Orthodontics and smile makeovers, for over 15 years And has been helping patients achieve their desired goals in a calm and relaxed manner.
Sameer’s other interests include reading, going to the gym, football and badminton. He is a keen cook and enjoys developing new skills in the kitchen, all of which keep him busy when he is not working!

Marie Maguire
Dental Nurse
Marie has over 20 years’ experience in dental nursing. She is qualified in impression taking, radiography and assisting in implants. Marie is constantly doing courses to keep her knowledge up to date. She is also amazing at crochet and playing the organ!
Helene Olesen
Dental Therapist and Hygienist
Helene qualified as a Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist at Barts & The London dental hospital in 2009.
Originally she worked and trained as a dental nurse at our practice in 2004.
Having qualified as a hygienist and dental therapist she has worked in numerous practices, both private and NHS, treating a variety of patients. She particularly enjoys the challenges of advanced chronic periodontal disease and immunocompromised patients.
Helene regularly attends courses to maintain and advance her knowledge regarding cross infection, law & ethics, child protection, periodontal regeneration, enlighten smiles.

Melissa Harman
Practice Manager and Senior Dental Nurse
Melissa started working at the White House dental practice in 2005. She then went on to complete her nursing qualification in 2007.
Melissa has been trained by the International Team of Implantologists and the Straumann Company. She assists with the dentist during implant placement and restoration. She qualified with her Diploma in Practice Management in 2015.
She actively participates in continuing professional development having attended numerous courses in cross-infection control, four handed dentistry and emergency drugs.
In 2012 Melissa achieved the post graduate BDA course in dental radiography, allowing her to independently take all forms of dental radiographs.

Rose Connolly
Accounts Manager
Rose joined the team in 2015 and is thoroughly enjoying working as a Receptionist. She is friendly, reliable and very efficient, and enjoys working with the general public providing excellent customer care and patient satisfaction. Please do not hesitate to contact Rose with any queries or suggestions regarding the practice or your treatment.
Rose has attended courses on Health and Safety and Customer Complaints.
Elijah Palo
Trainee Dental Nurse
Elijah is one of our wonderful trainee dental nurses. He has prior experience in healthcare and is working towards his NEDBN qualification. He has over a years’ experience working chairside with Principal dentist Dr Ruth Debney. Elijah has been an amazing asset to the practice and is being supported by the practice as he works towards his qualification.
Theresa O’Shaughnessy
Receptionist
Theresa is our new receptionist working alongside accounts manager Rose Connolly. Theresa has years of experience working as a Midwife and has amazing interpersonal skills which make her an amazing addition to the team.
